Joy's professional music experience spans over 30+ years of clubs, cabarets, hotelbars, blues bars, roadhouses, coffeehouses, concerts, tv, and movies, across the Midwest and Canada, the South and Eastern Seaboard, and 20 years of entertaining in NYC and Europe.
A noted blues singer and bassist in her own right, gracing the prestigious NYC blues scene through the 80s and 90s, as a bandleader as well as band member in acts ranging from Rhythm & Blues, Classic American Vocal Jazz, Rock & Roll, Country Western, as well as international flavors of Latin, Klezmer, Hawaiian, Reggae, and more.
Joy currently works as a Single (one-person-band guitar, vocals, drums), or Duo with added expert soloist, Trio, or larger band.
